The Greater Columbus High School Club Hockey League is proud of it's players and it's history.
With the rapid growth of the game in Central Ohio in the late 1990's and into the new millenium, the GCHSCHL has played a large part in growing the game. In 1998 there was only one high school hockey team in the greater Columbus Area (Upper Arlington High School Golden Bears). With the inception of the GCHSCHL in that same year, that number grew to 8 teams. Ten years later in 2008-2009, there are now 12 varsity and 6 club high school hockey teams in central Ohio. Of those 18 teams, 14 have been members of the GCHSCHL.
In addition to the GCHSCHL's teams that have moved on to start Varsity programs, the GCHSCHL's players have also moved on to continued success in the sport. Advancing on to play at the Junior and College level, the GCHSCHL continues to develop some of Central Ohio's best hockey tallent.

GCHSCHL ALUM RUDASILL SIGNS WITH OSU
Former Olentangy Brave, Todd Rudasill, becomes the first GCHSCHL player ever to sign with an NCAA Division I team as he commits to play with the Ohio State University Buckeyes for the 2007-2008 season. After leading Olentangy to the GCHSCHL Blue Jacket Cup Finals in 2004, Rudasill went on to play for the Columbus Junior B Blue Jackets of the CSHL (Junior B) in 2004-2005, and has been with the Alpena Ice Diggers of the NAHL (Junior A) for the past two seasons.
